No Adults Allowed!

On Friday night, the American kids and the Bavarian kids played a rousing game of Cards Against Humanity down at the Ferien Haus. No pictures exist of the event, but I would like to commemorate it and invite comments, nonetheless. :)

Laboe U-boot Ehrenmal

By on at 12:00 PM
A 20-minute bike ride from Heikendorf is Laboe, another small village on the Kieler Förde with a tall monument and a real U-boot on the beach. The climb is 15 stories and the view from top is quite impressive. It was completed in 1936 with Adolf himself presiding over the dedication to the Kaiser's WWI marines. It was rededicated in 1954 to the dead sailors of all countries.
